These clients came in for a quick consultation, with the goal of opening up the entryway and rethinking the kitchen.

The existing layout wasn’t functioning well- the entry and dining area felt dark and closed off. The fridge sat against the dining room, creating a full wall, and the sitting area was placed right at the entrance to the powder room, making it both impractical and lacking privacy while taking up valuable kitchen space.

By relocating the fridge and replacing the breakfast nook with a sit-in island, we created a brighter dining area and a wider, more functional kitchen with better flow.
Opening up the entry, removing the staircase wall, and redesigning the powder room entrance also allowed for a proper coat closet and a small landing spot for everyday items like keys.

The result is a more open, welcoming, and efficient main floor that better supports daily life.
