A young family was considering this property to determine whether it could truly support their needs. The existing house was compact, and they were exploring an extension that would allow for a proper kitchen on the first floor and a primary bedroom on the second.
Beyond the addition itself, the home was missing essential everyday functions — there was no coat closet, and the family wanted a mudroom with direct access to the backyard. As part of the redesign, we also incorporated a powder room and created the option for first-floor laundry, eliminating the need to carry loads up and down a flight of stairs.
The goal was to transform a modest house into a practical, future-ready home — one that feels thoughtful, organized, and comfortable for a growing family.
